by Eleanor HendriksI am about to embark on a mini glaze marathon... It's a mega glaze marathon when I have
two tables full of pots to glaze -I try to avoid those -they make me sweat!!

...and a few results from the last round of glazing -I tackled the experimental jars that I made during my
week of freedom...

Lots of food for thought here -but I was happy enough with them that you can find them for sale in
my Etsy shop...
Pots are looking nice, Eleanor. :)
ReplyDeleteI was curious if you were going to be taking place in the Simcoe Studio tour coming up this fall.. sorry I can't remember the official name. Its the tour with Roger Kerslake et al. ..are you close enough? (I'm sorry, I'm having a bit of a geographically challenged moment right now)
...taking part, not taking place.
ReplyDeletehello. sheesh. .
Those freedom week pots are really nice. I especially like the glaze on the green spiral pot.
ReplyDeleteAnne,
ReplyDeleteI'm too far east of Simcoe to participate in that tour -I'll be in the Victoria County Studio Tour for the first time this year. http://www.victoriacountystudiotour.com/
I love studio tours! They knock the socks off craft shows any day -no lugging stuff and the studio gets cleaned whether it needs it or not!
your pots are looking sweet! The glaze on the green pots with spiral lid/handles is really nice. Also like the handle and lid ideas on the white/cream pot with leaf-type motif. Very cool. What great work you're doing!
ReplyDeleteI love those experimental pots. The variety of handles and lids are so fun!
ReplyDeletehow did the glaze marathon go?
